We celebrated Thanksgiving a little early this year for fear that
Varrin might not be home later in the month. We also had out of town
visitors, Lisa & Joshua Alderson from Florida so all of that combined
made us think we should celebrate early! Boy! Do we all have
a lot to be thankful for this year. Joshua Alderson was born January
6, 2001 while Edison followed close behind on January 9, 2001. Our
Godson Philip Guest was born April 18, 2001 and all three got to celebrate
their very first Thanksgiving at the Hangar! We were also joined
by Philip's parents Paul & Tracy Guest as well as Edison's Grampy,
Virgil Swearingen! A good time was had by all!!
Thanks to Varrin for cooking such a marvelous turkey and a batch of
his mom's famous (around these parts) stuffing! The rest of the meal
consisted of mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, greenbean casserole, rolls,
cranberry sauce and cranberries shaped like a tin can (that's what we call
it :-). Then there were 2 yummy pumpkin pies and egg nog for dessert.
We're still stuffed!
