I was blissfully wed to Varrin Swearingen on June 16, 1993.
We were highschool sweethearts and have been blessed with a joyous, loving,
fruitful marriage for nearly 9 years. He truly is my better half.
I always say that if we are only as good as the company we keep, I must
be fabulous! It is my great pleasure to be Mrs. Varrin Swearingen.
He completes me and not a day goes by that I don't adore being his wife.
So, how have we made it this far when so many marriages today fail? Well, we make it a habit never to let the sun set on our anger. We make it a point to always be honest (brutally at times). We work diligently on our communications skills. We do regular "check-ups" to see how we're doing with the promises we made in the Northwest Church Chapel on that sunny day in June. We pray together, we laugh together, we strive to always be loving towards each other and we keep Christ at the center of it all!
